The design for this sculpture came from observations of the carnival life in New Orleans. It depicts two finely dressed revelers engaged in an intimate Tango. The
sculpture was executed from one of the rarest and dense woods from South America, Purple heart wood. It is naturally a deep purple wood having an intense color.
